Australia’s native forests are among the most biodiverse and ecologically significant systems on earth. They provide critical habitat for wildlife, support clean air and water, and store enormous amounts of carbon.

Thanks to pressure from The Greens, environmental advocates, and determined campaigners - we've pushed the NSW Labor Government to deliver the promised Great Koala National Park. While this is a fantastic start, we need to secure a permanent end to destructive native forest logging across NSW.

Ongoing logging operations are releasing millions of tonnes of carbon and driving species to the brink of extinction. We know what needs to happen to protect our living planet now and for generations to come. The NSW Government must act now to end native forest logging.

We call on the Minister for the Environment to urgently end destructive native forest logging.
